Printwright is an independent website. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or authorized by HP, Canon, Epson, Brother, Xerox, Lexmark, Kyocera, Ricoh, Samsung, Pantum, Microsoft, Apple, Google or any other manufacturer or software company. We are not an authorized service provider for any brand.
Trademarks
All product names, brand names, model names and trademarks are the property of their respective owners. We use them only to identify the products our guides apply to (nominative use). We don’t use manufacturers’ logos.
Chat and support
You can ask us questions in the chat on this site. Answers are general information, the same as our guides: we can’t inspect your printer or computer, and we don’t offer telephone support, remote access, repairs or paid help of any kind. Anyone offering these services in our name is not us. For repairs or warranty service, contact your printer’s manufacturer through its own website, or an authorized repair service.
General information only
Guides are general information for common situations, not professional advice for your particular device. Models and software versions differ, and on-screen wording changes. Where a guide and your printer’s manual disagree, follow the manual.
Safety and warranty
Always switch off and unplug a printer before reaching inside it. Laser printer fusers get very hot; let them cool for at least 30 minutes. Keep ink and toner away from skin, eyes, fabric and children. Don’t force parts that resist. Opening covers not intended for users, or using refilled or third-party supplies, may affect your warranty.
Drivers and software
We recommend installing drivers, firmware and apps only from your printer manufacturer’s official website, Windows Update, or the official app stores. We don’t distribute software and don’t recommend third-party “driver updater” or “repair” tools.
